Please note, this post is based in Swords with some opportunity for hybrid working.

 

The General Manager, Technology and Transformation, willbe responsible for the strategic planning, integration and deployment of key information systems supporting regional healthcare delivery as part of the Digital for Care and Regional ICT enabled change programmes. 

 

This involves:  

 

  • The coordinated management of complex digital transformation programmes with a high degree of risk and complexity to achieve critical organisational objectives 
  • Engagement with senior regional stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of transformation programmes 
  • Supporting service managers in leading organisational change to drive benefits from technology and transformation programmes 
  • Managing and reporting on the programmes which includes interdependencies with other agencies and organisations within the HSE, suppliers and other agencies

Essential Criteria

Applicants must, at the latest date of application, clearly demonstrate, all the criteria listed below as relevant to the role: 

 

  • Significant experience in project/programme management in complex service settings with a significant ICT/Digital Health component. 

 

  • Significant experience of working collaboratively with multiple internal & external stakeholders and partners as relevant to the role 

 

  • Applicants must possess a qualification relevant to the post requirement e.g Computer Science, Digital Transformation, Information Technology, Engineering, Systems Analysis or Project Management
