The Senior Radiographer, PACS and Health Informatics will provide clinical expertise and support to staff working in Connolly Hospital and the Dublin and North East Region (DNE) Surgical Hub. S/he will provide leadership in the delivery of specialised services and will ensure the radiology service is part of a dynamic and growing health care facility catering for the health needs of all service users. The successful candidate will carry out the duties appropriate to a Senior Radiographer, PACS and Health Informatics in relation to this specialised area and support and supervise staff in training.

The salary scale for the post is: (01/02/2026) €58,461 €60,659 €62,967 €65,319 €67,697
Connolly Hospital’s Radiology Department provides radiology service to all agreed service users governed by Connolly Hospital. This includes a new standalone Surgical Day Case Hub in Swords, Co Dublin. The post will primarily be based in the Connolly Hospital site however the postholder will be required to travel between sites as required for the role. There is currently 1 permanent, whole-time vacancy available.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Radiographer, Senior – PACS and Health Informatics, Connolly Hospital and DNE Surgical Hub from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

(a) Candidates for appointment must:
(i) Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU. (https://www.coru.ie/)

(ii) Have 3 years fulltime (or an aggregate of 3 years) post qualification clinical experience.
And
(iii) Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
And
(iv) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
